Meet Your Counselor

Ellie Wade, MS, LPC

I practice from a Person-Centered foundation while utilizing evidenced based interventions, such as CBT and EDMR, to provide clients the tools needed for self-acceptance and change. I help my clients gain a greater understanding of themselves and confidence in making their own decisions.

I strive to make conversations about mental health and self-care relatable, safe, fun, and empowering. I believe it is a privilege to gently and genuinely hold space for and guide clients through some of the most significant, or potentially difficult, experiences of their lives while collaboratively working towards self-growth and healing.

In working with me, you can expect to gain new skills and insights, and definitely have a good laugh or two! Who says therapy can’t be fun? I’ll be real with you and I hope to provide you a space in which you can be real with me, too.

I will always be open to learning from you so that I can truly “get it”—what you are uniquely going through or have experienced in your life—to support you in the best ways possible, both clinically and as another caring person in your life. I encourage you to be open with me to help me best serve you.

I know trust takes time to build. I'll meet you where you are in your journey and walk with you through the good, the bad, and the new.

Together, we'll figure out how to get you "unstuck" and moving forward in the direction you’ve been waiting to go. We got this!

Inclusivity Statement

I whole-heartedly embrace the richness brought by identities and expressions at the intersections of ethnicity, race, nationality, sexual/affectional orientation, gender, size, age, physical and mental abilities, religion/spirituality, socioeconomic status, and immigration status.

I believe we are all worthy of love, peace, respect, and dignity as the experts of our own life experiences.

In other words, I accept you as you were, as you are, and who you might one day be.
I will honor all parts of your story— you are most welcome here!
